
Actor Corey Haim, who rose to fame in the 1980s in such movies as The Lost Boys and Lucas, died in the early-morning hours on Wednesday. It's suspected that Haim, who had struggled with substance abuse in the years following his '80s heyday, died of a drug overdose, though an autopsy is still pending.
According to Coroner Lt. Cheryl MacWillie, Haim died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, after collapsing in his mother's Oakwood, California, apartment.
